Radiation Question #14
Do Bluetooth headsets emit radiations that are similar to cell phones?
A big NO.
WHO suggested use of hands-free devices or texting to reduce cell phone radiation exposure.
A Jabra survey and report stated that "Using a hands free device can reduce the exposure to radiation by a factor of one thousand, drastically lowering the exposure from max 2 watts from cell phones to 0.002 watts max output for Bluetooth hands-free devices and zero watts for corded devices."
Though the difference is small, wired headsets are safer than Bluetooth.
Know radiation facts. Using cellphones to the ear while on a call has the maximum radiation to the body be absorbed. If the signal is weak or the battery is low, the radiation effect is more.
Use Anti-radiation or Radiation Protection devices to support your body's natural defenses to EMFs and other stressors.
